  1. Aggressive Resin Bond:

  2. Medium Density Foam Backings:

    • The wheels feature a medium-density foam backings that absorbs pressure and provides a cushion, allowing the wheel to conform to the shape of your stone or material. This helps eliminate flat spots and ensures a smooth finish.

  3. Plastic Core and Arbor Compatibility:

    • Each wheels has a plastic core for lightweight handling and comes with a 1" arbor hole. Bushings are included to adapt the wheels to 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" arbors, making them compatible with a wide range of cabbing machines.

  4. Versatile Applications:

Break-In Instructions for Premium REZ Diamond Wheels:

  1. Use with Water:

  2. Break-In Period:

    • These wheels have an aggressive resin bond, resulting in a rough texture with sharp points. A break-in period is required to smooth out the surface and remove excess resin bond. This ensures a scratch-free finish when working on cabs or other jewelry pieces.

  3. Break-In Process:

    • Use a large piece of agate (or another material with a hardness of 8-9 on the Mohs scale) to break in the wheels . The agate should have a smooth face and a rough or square edge.

    • Use the rough edge of the agate to knock off the very tops of the peaks on the wheels . This will help smooth the wheel without wearing it excessively.

    • Please using sharp-edged stones during the break-in process, as this can strip the resin  bond from the wheels .

  4. Avoid Over-Smooth hing:

    • Do not attempt to smooth the wheels entirely during the break-in process, as this can lead to excessive wear. The goal is to remove only the sharpest points to prevent scratches during use.

Applications:

  1. High-Volume Commercial Cabbing:

  2. Contour Grinding and Pre-Polishing:

  3. Stone, Glass, and Synthetic Materials:

    • Whether you're working with stone, glass, or synthetic materials, these wheels provide efficient and reliable performance.
